Psychologist

Allow yourself
to perform.

Get internal permission to win — without a public performance.

Jess Duran is a psychologist in private practice. Conversational work, adult, one-to-one. Private-pay. One practitioner.

The practice

A room that does not leak.

You meet with one psychologist. There is no clinic waiting room, no treatment program, no group track, and no insurance form as the front door. Format — video or in person — is confirmed in the first conversation, along with whether the work can be offered in your location.

The work is attention on the internal veto: where high performers refuse themselves permission. Sessions stay concrete — the week you are in, the pattern that keeps repeating, the decision you keep postponing. Not a program. Not motivation theater.

Who this is for

01

Executives & founders

You already perform. The work is permission, not motivation. Fiduciary load, isolation of the seat, and the private cost of staying sharp without collapsing the rest of the life.

02

Entertainment & public work

Output is visible. The room is not. Identity versus the work that is on display — a conversation that does not become content.

03

Private capital

Private-pay on purpose. One practitioner. No diagnosis code, no insurance paper trail as the front door of care.

Work

How the work works

01

A private note

You write briefly. No portal. No intake questionnaire. Do not send what you would only share inside a clinical relationship.

02

A conversation

If there is a fit, we schedule. If not, you hear that plainly. A reply is not treatment and does not create a client relationship.

03

A cadence

Fifty minutes, eighty minutes, or a longer sitting. A retainer if the work needs a held slot. Weekly is common. Nothing is sold as a package.

Investment

Private-pay. Stated in writing first.

No insurance billing from this practice. Investment is stated in the first conversation, in writing, before any ongoing work begins. Sitting lengths typically 50 · 80 · longer. Payment at the time of service unless another arrangement is written.

Self-pay clients may request a Good Faith Estimate. A superbill, if appropriate for you to submit to a plan, is discussed up front. Reimbursement is never guaranteed. Twenty-four hours’ notice to cancel; late cancels and missed sessions are billed at the session rate.

Psychologist

Jess Duran

A solo practice. Conversational work for adults. The public title is psychologist. A license number is not printed here — credentials are confirmed in the first conversation so you can verify them before ongoing work begins.

Not psychiatry. Not a hospital. Not crisis, after-hours, or forensic work. Medication is not prescribed. Court-mandated treatment and emergency care are outside the scope of the practice. If you are in danger, call 911. In the US, call or text 988.
